Link No Follow on Image Anchors

This bug affects Safari.

I discovered this bug seconds after noticing the Image Distort bug. When clicking the thumbnail image that is inside an anchor tag, nothing happens. The intended behaviour is for the new page to open. The new page did not open at all. Not in the new window and not in the same window. However, new links opened when clicking on the text beside the image.

I can list possible reasons for this, and next time I get my hands on a Macintosh, try to deduct them.

The possible reasons may be the same possible reasons causing the distortion:

  • KHTML CSS Opacity.
  • CSS Opacity.
  • The image float.
  • The DHTML in the anchor for opening a new window.

Bug Fix

The bug is not fixed at this time.
