Guys. I need some websites that will help me find out how a plasma screen works. So far, I ony got ads and BS. Thanks.

Oh yeah some other stuff.

What is plasma and how are ions produced in plasma?
What are pixels?
How does running an electeric current through plasma effect it?
What is a photon?
What is ultraviolet light?

Apreciate it. :)

I'd like to see how you'd cite ABS forums on your research......

assorted members, "Plasma screens" thread, www.absforums.com, ABS Forums » Computer Help » Computers / Code and Scripting (2005) posts xxx-xxx.

But to answer your questions...

Plasma is the watery substance of blood. plasma becomes ionized when hemoglobin is introduced via red blood cells. Also, plasma is really frickin hot and the sun is made out of it.

Pixels and crossbreeds of pixies and elfs. They don't like to use the f.

Plasma is in you. Therefore running an electric current through plasma requires running an electric current through you. An electric current will kill you, duh! Try conneting a wire to a blood vessel and then to an outlet if you don't beleive me.

A photon is important because it is the stuff that you use in a photon torpedo to blow up klingons. It's actually the special pieces of electrical current in ultraviolet light that affects the plasma in a klingon (the ultraviolet light cancels out their green plasma). Pixels make it.

Ultraviolet light is what makes stuff look like you are tripping on acid.

See, inside a plasma tv the little pixie/elfs make photons which explode different plasmas (people plasma makes red, klingons make green, and pixels actually have blue plasma). Then they get an electical current because they need the ultarviolet light in it. The photon torpedos blow up the plasma and makes tv pictures really really fast. So really, watching plasma tv means you are watching star trek.

Godd luck with your homework.
