This was a large project. The first step was to create the typical e-commerce product image gallery, but without using any JavaScript to cycle through the images. Then to animate this shopping experience smoothly.

The backend includes an currency converter with caching that updates every 24-hours, and automatic location detection to determine which currency and who requires tax on their order.

The client was inspired by the moving background of Heaven Can Wait and requested a feminine pink site. I am always told it is pretty. Also requested was to show that the site operates out of New York, so I incorporated city landscape into the design.

This was much more complicated than the moving clouds of Heaven Can Wait because the background here had to repeat in a perfect loop, whereas the clouds could be random. The grass is blue because I had been working in night mode with an orange tint, but decided to keep the colours after checking in the colours in a regular colour mode since they match better.

The background cycles between day time and night time. Originally I only used CSS filters for this, but it dulled the lights in the buildings at night. I then made a new layer just for the building windows lit up at night.
