The Web design for Debra Weinryb’s first side business as a writer.

This was an experiment in changing the fill colour on hover on only part of an SVG graphic and having peak-through hovers by using precise background placement.

This layout is an evolution of the Pressed Canada layout. It only gets a 99/100 in Google PageSpeed Insights because the menu’s hitspace is layered over the logo’s hitspace.

Although the whole menu could fit on one line on mobile, I decided to create a pure CSS expandable and collapsable menu.
