Nate has built up his YouTube following and decided to offer his videos as a streaming subscription service. Originally this project was hosted and powered by Vimeo OTT, but in 2022 Nate switched to Uscreen OTT. Nate switched to Uscreen because of the ability to customize. I found the codebase was actually based on Liquid code just like Shopify. Originally I was going to build a theme switcher, but because of the limited backend, I built only a dark theme. This was preferredd by his fanbase and has the look and feel Nate is going for in this premium streaming service.
Unfortunately, not everything was customizable. There was some CSS that cannot be removed, so a lot of overwriting had to be used as a solution to get Nate the custom functionality.
